    Security Engineer

    Responsibilities and requirements include:
    • Expert understanding of security technologies including Firewalls, VPN, Intrusion Detection/Prevention
    • Demonstrated proficiency (via certification and/or extensive management experience) with one or more of the following security products: Firewall-1, PIX, Snort/Sourcefire, Proventia, Manhunt, Cisco IDS, CSA, Entercept, etc.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Outstanding customer service skills
    • GIAC and product specific certifications preferred
    • 40% travel required


    Security Device Management Engineer (Myrtle Beach, SC)

    Security Device Management Engineers are responsible for configuring and administering firewall and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) for LURHQ customers. Firewall administration duties include rule base changes, software updates and troubleshooting issues on industry leading firewall technologies including Checkpoint, Cisco and Netscreen/Juniper. IDS duties include applying signature and software updates and performing device configuration on Snort, SourceFire Cisco and ISS systems. Device Management Engineers will also be expected to provide LURHQ clients with security architecture recommendations and assist with planning and implementation of long term projects. Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and outstanding customer service skills. 3-5 years experience with one or more of the preferred firewall platforms. Check Point CCSE, Juniper Networks JNCIS-FWV or Cisco CCSP or GIAC GCFW preferred.

    MSS Security Analysts (Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL and Myrtle Beach, SC)

    • Responsible for delivery of 24x7 Managed Security Services
    • GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) certification is required within 90 days of hire
    • GIAC Certified Firewall Analyst (GCFW) is preferred
    • Expert understanding of security technologies including Firewalls, VPN, Intrusion Detection/Prevention

    Business Development Managers

    LURHQ is currently seeking several Business Development Managers who will focus on acquiring new clients primarily through direct selling. The BDM will sell Managed Security and Consulting services to large enterprises with a focus on financial services, utility, manufacturing, state & local government and retail sectors located in their designated territory. The client point of contact will vary from CIO, CISO, CSO, and Director of Security to Security Engineer. Successful candidates will call on these potential client contacts directly, attend trade shows and security conferences, as well as respond to incoming inquiries. Business Development Managers will be teamed with a sales engineer and inside sales person and report to the VP of Sales.

    Candidates should be knowledgeable about security vendors, technologies, industry regulations and business drivers. They should have experience selling security services or complex security software such as SIEM technologies. Each Business Development Manager will be responsible for a multi-state territory. There are several large, referenceable clients in each of the territories and our hiring needs are due to increased demand.
    Software Tester (Myrtle Beach, SC)

    LURHQ seeks full-time staff to work across multiple projects on software testing and quality assurance. Ideal candidates will be able to work independently and as part of a team. Duties include but not limited to performing manual and automated testing, designing and executing technical test cases, maintaining test systems and network, and development of testing-strategy. Experience bridging gap between key stake holders and developers is highly desirable. Must have experience with the testing phase of the software development life cycle, including:
    • Test case design and execution
    • Testing strategy and methodology
    • Programming experience preferred
    • Use of automated testing application suites preferred
